Kevin Li

Associate Managing Director

Kevin Li, Esq., Associate Managing Director, is a former transactional attorney turned legal recruiter, leveraging his diverse legal experience to connect top talent with leading law firms and in- house legal teams. Prior to transitioning into recruiting, he practiced at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden and other firms, focusing on commercial real estate, corporate law, and secured transactions. His work included negotiating office and retail leases, structuring acquisitions and financings, drafting corporate governance documents, and handling UCC foreclosures and public sales of collateral. He also advised clients on land use matters, redevelopment projects, and lender borrower transactions, gaining a deep understanding of the hiring needs within the legal industry. Notably, he authored a legal brief and successfully argued before the New Jersey Supreme Court as amicus curiae on behalf of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey. Now, as a recruiter, he applies his firsthand knowledge of the legal profession to help attorneys navigate career transitions and law firms and other corporate entities build high-performing teams. Kevin earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where he served as Senior Editor of the Rutgers Business Law Review and held leadership roles in the Corporate Law & Governance Association. He is an active member of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA-NJ). Outside of work, he enjoys cycling – having completed rides of over 130 miles in a single day—and spending time with his wife and cat.
