Historical Note
Artemis, the namesake of The Artemis Group, played an
important role in Greek mythology as a patron of the hunt. Artemis
was the daughter of Zeus and the twin sister of the sun god Apollo and was
the Greek counterpart to Diana in Roman mythology.
